Rotary Club Passport International D1841, of District 1841 in Germany is a member of Rotary International, a humanitarian service organization whose contributions improve lives in local and global communities.
Our club members are dedicated individuals who share their passion for building lifelong friendships through the experience of dynamic, action-oriented volunteer service.

Our Vision

We are dedicated to be a vibrant Service Club that enriches lives and enhances global understanding.
We are committed to Rotary International's Core values*: Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity and Leadership.

*Core values

Rotary's core values of the Four Way Test represent the guiding principles of the organization's culture, including what guides members' priorities and actions within the organization.

The Four Way Test values are:

  • Is it the truth?
  • Is it fair to all concerned?
  • Will it build good will and better friendships?
  • Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

These values are increasingly an important component for us in strategic planning because they drive the intent and direction of the organization's as well as our club leadership.

 Service

Service is an important element of our mission. We believe that our service activities and programs contribute to greater understanding and peace in the world. We are creating a culture of service throughout our organization through the plans and actions of the clubs, which provides unparalleled satisfaction to those who serve. In fact, the concept of service is the key, because when we serve, it is among equals, and after a period of service, all involved are enriched by the interactions in the long run.

Fellowship

We believe that individual efforts focus on individual needs, while collective efforts serve humanity. The power of collective effort knows no boundaries, multiplies resources, and broadens our lives and perspectives. Fellowship leads to tolerance and transcends political, religious, racial, national, and other boundaries.

Diversity

We believe that Rotary International unites all people behind the Ideal of Service. We promote diversity of the professions in our membership and in our activities and service missions. A club that reflects its business and professional communities is a club with a strong pivot to its future.

Integrity

We are committed to and expect accountability from our leaders and fellow members, both in the results of our efforts and in the processes, we use to accomplish our goals. We adhere to high ethical and professional standards in our work and personal relationships. We are fair and respectful in our interactions, and we conscientiously steward the resources entrusted to us.

Leadership

We are a global fellowship of individuals who are leaders in their fields of endeavor. We believe in the importance of leadership development and in leadership as a quality of our members. As Rotarians, we are leaders in implementing our core values.
All of these core values are reflected in the Object of Rotary and The Four-Way Test, which we use in our daily lives. They inspire us to foster and support the ideal of service for developing and maintaining integrity in human relations.
